How to Brief a Travel Specialist

Five things to tell us before we start planning, and one thing you do not need to figure out first.

A good trip starts with a good conversation. You do not need a finished plan, but a few honest details help us design something that feels like yours.

Tell us how you like to travel

Early starts or long mornings? Museums or markets? A packed day or one anchor and a lot of room? Your habits matter more than any list of places.

Tell us what went wrong last time

Every traveler has a story about a trip that did not work. The hotel that was too far, the tour that was too crowded, the day that was too full. Those stories are useful.

Give us a budget range

An approximate range is enough. It helps us decide where to spend and where to save, and it saves you from a plan that lands in the wrong place.

Be honest about your dates

If you are flexible, say so. A few days either side can change flight costs, weather, and availability at the places you care about most.

Tell us who is coming

A honeymoon, a family with teenagers, and three old friends want very different trips even in the same city.

What you do not need to know

You do not need to know the best route, the right hotel, or which season is ideal. That is our job.
